Terms of Service

These Terms of Service govern your access to and use of Verty, including the mobile app, public preview pages, and related services. By creating an account, accessing the app, or using Verty, you agree to these terms.

If you do not agree to these terms, do not use Verty.

You must be at least 16 years old, or any higher minimum age required by applicable law, to use Verty. You are responsible for providing accurate registration and profile information and for maintaining the security of your account credentials.

You may not impersonate another person, create misleading profiles, bypass account restrictions, scrape the service, or use bots or automated methods to access or misuse Verty.

Verty is a location-aware social platform for discovering, creating, sharing, joining, and coordinating events. Some features are available only in the authenticated mobile app, including join requests, invites, event chat, notifications, moderation actions, and access to gated exact event location.

Public web pages are informational previews only. They do not guarantee access to an event or to the full in-app experience.

You keep responsibility for the content you submit to Verty, including profile details, images, event listings, descriptions, chats, join requests, invites, and reports. You represent that you have the rights needed to share that content and that it does not violate the law or these terms.

By submitting content to Verty, you grant us a non-exclusive, worldwide, royalty-free license to host, store, reproduce, display, process, adapt, and distribute that content only as needed to operate, improve, secure, moderate, and promote the service.

If you host an event, you are responsible for describing it accurately, setting the right category and context, managing access responsibly, and complying with all applicable laws, venue rules, permits, and safety obligations. Hosts are also responsible for their own conduct and for content they publish in connection with their events.

If you join or attend an event, you are responsible for your conduct, your interactions with others, and for evaluating whether an event is appropriate for you. Verty does not organize, control, endorse, or supervise user-created events or user behavior at those events.

Verty offers reporting, blocking, and moderation features to help protect the community. You can report users, events, or misconduct through the app, and blocking can restrict contact between users.

We may review reported content and conduct, investigate complaints, and take action including content removal, event removal, warnings, feature restrictions, temporary suspension, or permanent account removal.

Verty includes location-based discovery and event features. Location information may be incomplete, approximate, delayed, user-supplied, or inaccurate. Event availability, access, and exact location may change without notice.

You are responsible for using judgment before attending any event, meeting any person, or sharing your location. Meetups arranged through Verty happen at your own risk.

We may suspend, restrict, deactivate, or remove accounts or content if we believe someone violated these terms, created risk for other users, exposed Verty to legal or security harm, or used the service abusively.

You may also request account deletion through the Settings flow. Deletion requests enter a 30-day restore window before final purge. During that period, some features and data may already be removed or disabled. After the grace period, the account may be anonymized or permanently deleted according to our backend lifecycle.
