Be real and respectful
Verty works best when people show up as themselves. Use accurate profile information, choose a profile photo that represents you, and do not impersonate another person or mislead others about who you are.
Do not harass, threaten, bully, stalk, shame or pressure other users. Respect people's boundaries, time and decisions.
Verty is for events and real-world plans
Use Verty to discover, create and join events. Do not use the app mainly for spam, mass messaging, dating-style harassment, commercial solicitation or repeatedly contacting people without genuine event context.
Keep event chats useful
Event chats are for coordinating the plan: timing, questions, arrival details and group context. Keep communication respectful and relevant. Do not share someone's private information, pressure people to move off-platform, or send explicit, threatening or abusive messages.
Respect gated locations
Exact event locations are gated until someone joins or gets approved. Do not attempt to bypass location privacy, share private addresses publicly, or pressure hosts or attendees to reveal exact details before they are ready.
Host responsibly
If you host an event, describe it honestly. Include the right time, category, capacity, vibe and location context. If your event uses requests, approve people thoughtfully and keep the event aligned with what you promised.
Attend responsibly
If you join an event, show up respectfully and on time. If you can no longer attend, leave the event or communicate early where possible. Repeated no-shows or disruptive behavior may affect trust signals and future participation.
Prohibited content and behavior
Do not use Verty to post, promote or organize:
- harassment, threats or intimidation
- hate speech or discriminatory conduct
- sexual content, explicit images or unwanted sexual messages
- violence, weapons promotion or dangerous behavior
- illegal activity or drug sales
- scams, fraud, spam or requests for money
- impersonation or fake profiles
- sharing another person's private information without consent
- content involving minors in unsafe or inappropriate contexts
- scraping, bots or attempts to manipulate the platform
Reporting and moderation
If something feels wrong, report it in the app. Verty supports reports for users, profiles and event-related misconduct. Reports help moderation tools and internal review workflows identify harmful behavior, fake profiles, spam and safety issues.
Blocking is separate from reporting. Blocking helps cut contact; reporting helps the team review behavior that may violate these guidelines.
Account actions
Violating these guidelines may lead to content removal, warnings, reduced access, event removal, account suspension or permanent removal from Verty, depending on severity and history.
Safety first
Use your judgment when meeting people from any app. Meet in appropriate public places, keep a trusted person informed, arrange your own transportation, and leave if something feels off.
