Fully public events let anyone join instantly and unlock the details right away. Events with join requests are curated by the host: you send a request, the host reviews your profile, and the exact location plus the event chat unlock only after approval.

Check the context Verty gives you before joining: a public profile with hosted and attended event counts, show-up rate, cancellation frequency, community reports over the last 6 months, mutual friends, online status, and whether the event is fully public or request-based. A host with a history of real events is easier to trust, and an event with join requests means the host is filtering who comes too.

Account
Account cleanup, recovery timing and the fastest way to reach our team.
Go to your account settings and start the delete account flow. If your app already supports the 30-day recovery window, the account can still be restored during that period before permanent deletion.
