Exact event addresses stay locked until you join instantly or the host approves your request. Public previews only ever show the city and the approximate vibe — never the address.

When a host reviews join requests, they see your profile and context before letting you in — and you see theirs before asking. Treat the request flow as a mutual check: if a host with no history, no photo, and no attendees makes you hesitate, trust that instinct.
